Mission trip to Zambia

On November 13, 2024, two missionaries from the Congregation of Saint Michael the Archangel, Fr. Piotr Dąbrowski and Fr. Paweł Zagórski, set out on a mission to Zambia. The purpose of their trip will be to bring aid and spiritual support to the local population in this African country. "In the Church, no one is or can be alone, which is why Jesus sends two. In this way, the apostles can support each other. Fr. Piotr and Fr. Paweł, you are not alone in your mission. You have each other, but also the support of the entire Michaelite community. Know, brothers, that from today, when the call resounds in our religious prayers: *let us pray for our confreres who proclaim Christ among different nations... *all Michaelites, Michaelite Sisters, but also the Worshipers and Knights of St. Michael the Archangel will pray for you. Remember, you are never alone," said Fr. Marcin in his homily during the Mass of Send-off, which took place a few weeks earlier. The two missionaries were accompanied on their journey by Father General, Fr. Dariusz Wilk, and the superior of the Italian-Swiss province, Fr. Rafał Gądek.  We commend our confreres who are beginning their missionary service in Africa:  God, our Father, we thank You for the Michalite missionaries who are devoted to spreading Your word and love to the farthest corners of the world. We ask You to grant them strength, wisdom, and courage in their daily work. Lord Jesus, You who were a "missionary" Yourself, lead them in Your footsteps. Give them hearts full of love and compassion so that they may reach those who most need Your grace and mercy. Holy Spirit, fill them with your power and light so that they may be witnesses of your truth and peace. Help them to overcome the difficulties and challenges they encounter on their way. Mother of God, Queen of Angels, surround them with your protection. May your love and care be a source of comfort and support for them. Amen.
