Starting postulancy in Paraguay

On February 29, 2024, two new candidates began the first stage of religious formation at Natalicio Talavera in Paraguay. The service was presided over by Fr. Piotr Szytniewski, master of postulants. Fr. Piotr reminded them of the need to establish a close relationship with Jesus, following the example of Blessed Bronisław Markiewicz, in the light of the faith handed down to us by the Church community. Then, the candidates expressed their desire to stay at the religious house in Krakow, to observe religious life and to help discern their vocation, saying the following prayer: "We wish to ask to be accepted into the postulancy of the Congregation of St. Michael the Archangel, so that through listening to the Word of God, prayer, and fraternal life, we may discern Christ's call to live in fraternal community." We wish the postulant brothers perseverance on their chosen path.
